Scope:

All works associated with constructing a new methanol facility

• Install & connect temporary sugar dosing equipment
• Excavate for & install new double skinned tank with vacuum cavity
• Install Water, Power, Comms, Drainage and various chemical lines under the structures
• FRP chemical bund and unloading bund.
• Construct structural steel canopy over bund
• Install chemical dosing skids
• Connect dosing skids to tank and treatment plant network
• Reinstate

Challenges:

• Working inside an operating treatment plant,
• Liaising with plant operators for shutdowns & tie-ins to ensure the plant remained operational
• Services locating to ensure existing infrastructure was not impacted.
• Working with chemicals
• Maintaining vacuum seal on tank.
