Scope:

Construct a new sewage pump station from greenfield to commissioning.

• Install secant pile wall for excavation
• Excavate 8m to sub-base
• FRP pump station
• FRP manholes, valve pits
• Install structural & mechanical equipment
• Build a switchroom
• Install electrical scop

Challenges:

• Started excavation in Jan, 600mm of rain from Jan to March.
• Extremely hard rock – had to use drilling and chemical fracturing.
• “1 in 50” year rain events in one year. Passed all inspections from EPA re. dewatering.
• Dewatering was a huge challenge
